Tried and True Sleep Tips:
Place baby down drowsy but not asleep.
Baby will learn to settle THEMSELVES by shimmying into place therefore creating their own sleep space. Just as we adjust and move to a comfortable spot so will baby. Following safe sleep guidelines are so important in a healthy sleep routine.
2. Babies can't tell time so providing them with an optimal sleep space can also improve a healthy sleep routine. Blackout curtains or shades of some sort signal sleep in babies brain.
3. Babies hear everything. Give yourself a break and get a sound machine.
They are soothing anyway!
4. Follow the cues baby gives, meaning if baby is cranky, rubbing eyes, or whiny it might be nap time. All babies are different so look for YOUR babies cues.
